What needs to be done around Manchester United

What needs to be done around Manchester United

It is true, people. It is a fact. We all know this is a problem, but we must accept it. United isn’t the same team as before. The easy wins, the comebacks, and the combination are gone. I don’t know what I will see this season.

Why? David Moyes, Everton’s excellent manager, was consistently successful. What went wrong? United has undoubtedly a better team than Everton. Better facilities, better medical staff, and better everything. What then seems to be the problem? What is the problem with a team that has won 20 league titles and was crowned champion of 2013 Premier League? WAIT! Is the manager the only reason for all these problems?

David Moyes dismissed the previously appointed back room staff by Sir Alex, and appointed a new team to meet his needs. He could have used the help of his staff, who could have taught him many things that Fergie had taught them. But they were not given the opportunity to do so. It’s OK. This is a mistake that he can accept. A manager must be able to relax with his staff. He knows his team well. He could trust and talk to them. He should have retained the crew, because experience is important.

David Moyes’ selection of squad members has been horrible. This is something I didn’t expect from a manager his caliber. He rotates his squad too often, which causes problems with team chemistry. He is a clever player in one match, but he then benched him for 3 more games. Then he gets him back on pitch for an important match in which there is no room to make mistakes. Cleverly, a young, inexperienced player, plays poorly under pressure. Fletcher, and especially Shinji Kagawa, are both in the same boat. Kagawa was a regular player for United during the Fergie era. His vision, passes, and work rate were outstanding until Moyes benched him for unknown reasons. He now underperforms.

Moyes hasn’t done anything extraordinary except for signing Juan Mata, the highest transfer fee United paid. Although Mata has shown great promise, he still lacks creativity. Moyes had the time and opportunity in the January and summer transfer windows to bring in young creative players, but he failed to do so in both window.

I asked the fans how much more time they would like to spend with him. United lost their 10th league match last week. The history of Manchester United is made when it was revealed that MANCHESTER UNTIED IS HAVING THE WORST SEASON EVER. If I were supporting West Ham United, Queens Park Rangers or any other club, I would have allowed my manager to get settled and do wonderful things for the club. But this is not a random club at the bottom of the table. Manchester United is what we’re talking about. The club that has never failed to qualify in the Champions League. The club that has won the most league titles. It is important that people recognize this sooner rather than later.

Think calmly and rationally about whether Moyes should continue his Era at the club. Is he the right person to lead this team after he has failed so many times? Consider the club and all that it has to offer. At the end, no one is bigger than the club.
